About our local furniture moving service
BJ’S Express Moving and Storage service Townsville and surrounds for all your local removal needs. We supply a truck with two or more trained moving professionals, depending on your requirements, for removal. We have a total of 5 different size trucks to suit all large and small removals. All trucks a fitted with furniture blankets to wrap and protect your belongs while in transit, All trucks are fitted with the latest moving equipment trollies and carrying straps for difficult items. All trucks are fitted with ramps for easy loading and unloading. We have a 2 tone full size tailgate loader on one of our trucks for any extra heavy or bulky items.
Every item is professionally wrapped in our A Grade furniture blankets. This allows high protection for your furniture from scratches and dents during your relocation.
Our team are trained to disassemble and reassemble all types of furniture so you can leave all your beds and goods where they are and we will disassemble and reassemble for you.

Bookings and changes
Once booked with us, one of our friendly administration staff will call you the day before your removal to confirm the booking.
Please note if you need to change your booking prior to the date of removal this must be done 48 hours in advance or charges will apply.

Are we covered under insurance or is this an extra cost?
BJ’S Express Moving and Storage only cover whilst your goods are in transit. If you require extra cover for loading, unloading or storage one of our administration staff can obtain a quotation for insurance through Removals Insurance Australia.
Can I pack my own goods?
Yes you can pack your own goods. If you do so the removalist will take no responsibility if goods you have packed yourself have become damaged. To ensure this doesn’t happen please refer to our tips on packing goods.
